Google Backlinks Update Dec/2009 !
January 2nd, 2010
It seems the process of Google backlink calculation is over now and the final step which is PR updating is in progress to appear on Google toolbar! While Google still ignore to show the real numbers of backlink through direct query on its data center, but! it is significant moves on its latest update given more weight by its backlinks calculation system to relevant content sharing among sites as well as emphasizing on its calculation to be given to high PR site ( Above PR 3 ) with over 2k pages recorded on Google !

Base on what I have seen so far the PR on Inner pages for sites with numbers of outbound links are being dropped ! In deed sites or blogs being participating on links exchange or links trades market being targeted by Google in this update while sites with less or no outbound links are getting or improving PR on Inner pages not base as a result on having anchor text through other sites linking to inner pages but! rather through building natural incoming link to the home page.
What about the SERP positioning? there are some changes taking a place on Google SERP with regards to the backlinks process and PR right now , sites with more content and pages indexed as well as higher PR are given the authority over the smaller site or new site . Once again ! Do not get me wrong! PR is not just the main factor but it still exist on Google ranking system unlike some people have been trying to ignore it !

Unlike their previous PR updates, this time around Google has been more or less soft on most domain main (or home) pages as many of them retained or even improved their ranks. Hence the PR update this time has been a good New Year gift for many a blogger.

Google PR update is really something that most bloggers and webmasters look forward to and dread about. PR essentially means money and visibility for bloggers (Perhaps it means nothing for the common - today when I searched the All-Acronyms site for the short-form PR, I was surprised to learn that it didn’t exist there amongst 344 possible definitions for PR. I, in fact, submitted it there immediately). Anyway, as for D$, there was no change in the homepage PR, though I was expecting a PR4 this time. But as I maintained earlier, one has to dig into more details than just the home page PR.
